So, on to some actual reasons why Vince is FAB.
Reasons why Vince is Brilliant Number One.
Because he is funny. Funny in a good way, that is. There are also people in the world who are funny in the other, not-so-good way. I actively try to avoid those people. You know the ones - they have a tendency to sleep with their relatives and run around in odd clothing exhibiting strange behaviour. An easily spotted breed, they usually have one eyebrow and live in Okehampton.

As I type this, I am eating sugar puffs. This is because when I went to the supermarket yesterday, I forgot to buy any actual food. This is an oversight.
Things I Hate Number One.
People who put their hands up and make little "speech mark" symbols for emphasis when saying certain "words" (like "cock" and "pretentious wanker"). This is almost as annoying as people who mis-pronounciate the word issue. For those of you who are wondering, it is ISHOO (not dissimilar to the latter part of the sound one makes when sneezing), not ISS-YOU. VPW, of course, pronounces the word correctly (I have checked. I would hate to write anything incorrect and be at risk of legal proceedings). Oh - and you can hear the correct pronounciation of the word here http://dictionary.cambridge.org/dictionary/british/issue_1(just in case anyone is contemplating doing something very silly, like arguing ...)

Interestingly, it appears as if someone has stolen a pair of socks from my handbag. There is a very slim possibility that I have made an error, and that I did not in fact put them into my bag as intended this morning. However, as I am rarely wrong, I think it is far more likely that there was a sock thief in the Doctor's waiting room this morning whilst I was there.
Reasons why Vince is Brilliant Number Two.
Because he fixes stuff. I have not yet found anything he can't fix (or should I say, managed to break anything to the extent beyond Vincerepairability). NAS drives, tumbledryers, broken sausage rolls - you name it, he can fix it. In fact, he really likes fixing stuff! It makes him feel ... valued. So if you're deciding whether or not to break that computer or toaster, go ahead! Keep Vince happy!
